Eating out
The location of Aisling House is perfect for guests who appreciate the peace and quiet of the countryside with a choice of places to eat within a short drive away. We also have Les Routiers Guide to good quality eating places in Ireland for those who are travelling onwards from Fermanagh.
For those guests who would prefer to take a taxi to your chosen venue we have a very reliable local company and will be happy to arrange that for you.
Below are places that we would recommend for evening and lunchtime meals, as we have eaten at them ourselves.
Enniskillen (12 miles from Aisling House – 20minutes by car or taxi)
If you are looking for some good quality food or are interested in live music and having a bop (or both!) – this pub in Enniskillen may be your perfect venue.
Cafe Merlot
Very well known locally for it’s extensive “theatre supper” (Ardhowen theatre is our lovely theatre with fabulous views over Lough Erne). If you like fresh fish or chunky all meat beef burgers with home made chutney, this basement restaurant in "The Hollow" is a perfect choice. Fast and efficient service and a great wine list.An award winning restaurant for those with both a discerning palate and those who seek something more adventurous. Why not try Ostrich, Blacklion Duck or even crocodile (not native to Fermanagh!) Also you will find a wide range of fresh fish dishes such as seabream, monkfish, and seabass. A very trendy setting in the centre of Enniskillen.
Situated at the edge of Upper Lough Erne, your dining experience here can be combined with beautiful views over the lough. If you fancy trying dishes such as squid and coriander salad followed by Ulster rack of lamb, we would recommend a trip to the Silks restaurant. The hotel is also ideally situated for afternoon tea or coffee.
Try a buffet lunch – all you can eat- for less than £5! Or try their Saturday night Buffet evening offering a wide range of both freshly cooked starters and main courses in this lovely Indian restaurant in the centre of Enniskillen.
Franco’s A great place for freshly cooked pizzas and pasta dishes.
Pat’s Bar A lovely Irish pub, offering meals both at lunchtime and in the evening.
Lisnaskea (6 miles from Aisling House – 15 minutes by car or taxi)
Dragon Inn Chinese restaurant
A lovely restaurant with a wide choice of both Chinese and Cantonese dishes.
A local and friendly small hotel offering good value lunches and evening meals, with great service.
Kissin Crusts (great for coffee and lunch).

Good value and good food would sum up this venue. Ideal for those who fancy 18 holes, finished off with a hearty meal all with a friendly service.
